2. Quick Chain Adjustment
- Unscrew the front knob.
- Roll the rear conditioner gear up and down.
- Tighten the front knob.
3. Adding Lubricant
Please add chainsaw oil before use; this will significantly improve cutting efficiency and extend the lifespan of the chain.
Note: Before cutting, run the chainsaw at idle for about 60 seconds to ensure that the oil system is fully lubricated.
4. Troubleshooting Guide
If you encounter a problem where the tool won’t start, please check the following:
- Are you using the correct DeWalt 20V MAX battery?(Please note that using third-party batteries may reduce performance.)
- Is the brake lever in the forward position, causing the tool to be in a locked state?
- Is the battery fully charged? (Two 2Ah, 4Ah, and 5Ah batteries are expected to provide continuous operation for 5, 8, and 10 minutes respectively). Please use different batteries according to your workload.
- Has the battery overheated due to prolonged continuous use? Try using a different battery.
If you encounter poor cutting performance, please check the following issues first:
- Is the chain installed with the correct orientation?
- Is the chain properly lubricated?
- Is the battery overheating?
